How do I participate in the silent auction?
Silent auction items will be displayed at the evening event.
We use a mobile application to improve your experience with our auction. Prior to the event, please download our silent auction application (Bid Beacon) and create your account. NOTE: your credit card information is not stored by Bid Beacon but is handled by Stripe which is a PCI-compliant payment provider (in other words, your information will be protected through encryption). The Access Code is provided on the homepage so we don’t have to update it throughout the website, but we will also send out the access code prior to the event so you can start viewing items as we add them and allow you to start bidding on auction items up to 30 days prior to the event. Access Code will also be provided at the event.
Benefits of Bid Beacon:
Allows us to setup auction items for your view prior to and during the event.
Allows you to easily setup your account with credit card information (securely stored) prior to or during event.
You can view and bid on items directly from the app. You do not have to attend the evening event to participate in the silent auction if you have the Bid Beacon application which will provide you access to our auction based on our Access Code (see homepage for this year’s Access Code).
You can set your maximum bid limit so to increase your bid if someone outbids you.
You will be notified when someone outbids you.
You will be notified if you win the bid and be automatically charged to your credit card. You will be able to pick up your item at the evening event (or we will notify you via email to arrange for pickup in case you are not at the evening event).
If you would like to contribute an item to our silent auction, you can go here.
